Pakt ("we", "us", or "our") operates the Pakt mobile application. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you use our service.

We collect the following types of information:
- Account information: Name and email address when you register.
- Profile photo: Optional profile picture you upload.
- Proof media: Photos and short videos you submit as daily challenge proof.
- Voice recordings: Audio confessions submitted as penalty when eliminated from a pact.
- Usage data: Pact history, streaks, completion rates, and in-app activity.
- Device information: Device type, operating system, and app version for technical support.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To provide and maintain the Pakt service.
- To display your proof submissions to other pact members.
- To calculate streaks, completion rates, and statistics.
- To send push notifications about pact deadlines and activity.
- To improve our service and fix technical issues.
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. Your proof media and voice recordings are shared only with members of the specific pact you belong to. We use the following third-party services:
- Supabase: Database and file storage (EU servers).
- Expo / React Native: Mobile app infrastructure.
- Vercel: Web hosting for paktapp.online.
5. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. Proof media and voice recordings are stored for the duration of the pact plus 30 days. You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time.
6. Your Rights
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Request correction of inaccurate data.
- Request deletion of your account and data.
- Withdraw consent for data processing at any time.
7. Security
We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted data transmission (HTTPS) and secure cloud storage. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.
8. Children's Privacy
Pakt is not intended for users under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
